         NEXT SUNDAY: Confirmation Mass with Bishop Luke at 10.30am. Followed by a bring-and-share
         Parish Lunch with Bishop Luke in the Vestry Hall. All welcome !!

         There is a list at Back of Church for you to indicate which food items you will be bringing to the
         Parish Lunch.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH: Also at Back of Church is a list for you to indicate if you wish to sponsor flowers in church sometime during 2026 – perhaps in memory of a loved one, or perhaps to give thanks on a birthday or other significant date for you. Nearer the time please let Margaret have your donation and perhaps indicate if you have a preference for colour or type of flower (subject to availability and cost).

ST MICHAEL’S GREETINGS CARDS / NOTECARDS are now available at Back of Church, cost £1.50 ea in aid of church funds. The illustration is a beautiful watercolour of St Michael’s church by Catherine Garland. The cards are blank inside to use for any occasion. You can use the card machine at Back of Church to make your payment.

WALSINGHAM PATRISH PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM 26th – 29th May, coinciding with School Holidays. A list for you to book your places on this Parish Pilgrimage is at Back of Church. Please add your name if you wish to go – let’s make sure Bishop Luke sees a good number of people on the list when he comes next week !!

FOR OUR PRAYERS: For Bishop Luke and all clergy and parishes under his care; for Josh, Eva and Martha as they prepare for Confirmation. For our local schools, and especially St Michael’s Infants and Juniors – the staff, children and their families. For an end to suffering in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran and other places of violence and injustice.

We pray for those in need, and especially Glynis Reynolds, Yvonne Young, Lindsay Wheeler, Martyn Nash, Fran, David Green, Norman Farrington, Phil and Marion, Jacqui Barlow, Joe, Keira, Freya and Isaac, and for those who mourn the loss of a loved one at this time.

We pray for the recently departed, and among them Trevor Gatehouse. We remember those who have faithfully served God in this Church in previous generations, and we pray for those whose year’s mind occurs this week: John Ardley (Pr), John Middletone, Emlyn Williams, Harold Holwell, Molly Mitchell, Lionel Mitchell, Stephen Best-Shaw, Doris Aust.
