THANK YOU to all who supported our Lent Charity ‘Mary’s Meals’ this year. We raised a total of £ 550-22 for Mary’s Meals – a fantastic amount, well done!!

FOR OUR PRAYERS:

We give thanks and praise to Almighty God for the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and for the Salvation won for us by his passion, death and resurrection. We pray that our church will be filled with the love and joy of the Risen Christ. We give thanks, and pray for, the work of Mary’s Meals in providing nourishing meals at school for children in poorer parts of the world.

We pray for the work of maintaining our church building, for sound advice and good craftsmen, for the finance required, and for the work of our Churchwardens and those who help them in maintaining the church as a fit and welcoming place for worship.

We pray for those in need, and especially Glynis Reynolds, Yvonne Young, Lindsay Wheeler, Martyn Nash, David Green, Norman Farrington, Phil and Marion, Joe, Keira, Freya, Isaac, Lexie Nicholson, Sarah, Janet and Alan.

We pray for the recently departed. We remember those who have faithfully served God in this Church in previous generations, and we pray for those whose year’s mind occurs this week: Jonathan Locke, Monica Boyles, Marjorie Huxley, May Pilbeam, Constance Rickerby.
