parents: Minnie Clare Humphrey, of 146, Milton St., Maidstone, and the late Frank Humphrey. In 1901 the family lived at 24 Hartnup Street. Frank was an Asylum Attendant. By 1911 the family lived at 146, Milton St., Maidstone Percy enlisted in Liverpool. Percy’s younger brother William also died in the First World War aged 15 on HMS Powerful where he died 13 days later – how terrible for his mother.
